         Welcome to A Sewing Basket located in Salado, Texas.  We sell quilting fabric by Moda, Timeless Treasures, Robert Kaufman, Alexander Henry Fabrics, Blank Textiles, Andover Fabrics, RJR, Hoffman, Kona Bay in addition to many other high quality quilting fabrics.   We also sell notions, patterns and gifts.   Our specialty is cowboy & western fabrics.

                A Sewing Basket is located in historic Salado, Texas.  We are located about 40 miles north of Austin and 20 miles south of Temple on Interstate 35 at exit 285.  The store is in the Stage Stop shopping center.  You can enter the shopping center either from the access road to Interstate 35 or off Main Street.

                Our hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 9:30 am-5:30 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm-4:30 pm
